We’re in the midst of summer and vacations are in full swing. If you’re taking a flight soon there are a few things you’ll need to consider and we have a few tips to help when you’re packing your medication. • Contact the airline at least 72 hours in advance to find out if your medical supplies are allowed through security checkpoints. • Pack your medication in your carry-on bag to avoid the risk of lost luggage. • You can take liquid medication in excess of 3.4 ounces, but make sure to notify the officer at the checkpoint. • Stay hydrated and adjust your infusion schedule as needed based on the duration of your flight.
