#digiCzechiaUSA

Pracovní cesta do USA, den druhý: asi nejvýživnější den celé cesty. 2. Amazon Web Services a Amazon, Gen AI Innovation Center, ředitel Sri Elaprolu - spolupráce v oblasti cloud computingu a možné zřízení AI inovačního centra v Praze 3. National Institute of Standards and Technology - spolupráce v oblasti kyberbezpečnosti, kryptografie akvantových techgnologií, studijní stáže pro experty z NÚKIBu, univerzit a Akademie věd. 4. The American-Central European Business Association, president Eric Stewart a zástupci firem - podpora amerických investic u nás a českých v USA (mimochodem ty české v USA momentálně vedou!), podpora jednání o zavedení víza E-1 pro české firmy. 5. White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Stephen P. Welby, ředitel pro národní bezpečnost - spolupráce ve výzkumu, výměna expertů v oblasti AI a kvanta, podpora memoranda s National Science Foundation. 6. Dr. Seth Center, zvláštní zmocněnec pro kritické a nové technologie Ministerstva zahraničí USA (není to žádné centrum, on se tak jmenuje :-)) - podpora spolupráce v oblasti AI a kvantu, stáže českých expertů v americkém National Institute of Standards and Technology a dalších institucích. 7. Zítra jdu zase do Kongresu.

Department of State v oblasti zahraničních dezinformací a manipulací.

The American-Czech Business Council (ACBC) joins the Czech Republic in commemorating the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day today–a somber reminder of the eternal fight for #freedom and #democracy. Today the world is reminded that many present-day struggles are reflected in recent history and that we must continue to forcefully stand up against acts of malignant aggression. The #Czech Republic is a global leader in doing just that, which is one of the many reasons it is such an important #ally and #partner of the #USA.
Today, November 17th, we commemorate an important day in our history. In 1939 and 1989, Czech students and the Czech nation bravely defended democracy against totalitarian regimes, risking prison, persecution, and death. They showed that freedom and dignity are worth fighting for.
