What a Show   Today already marks the third and final day of the American Coatings Show and Conference 2024! And what a show it is! A big thank you to all of the attendees, exhibitors and speakers! Today’s event wraps up at 1:00 pm, but the next American Coatings Show and Conference is set to return in two years. In 2026, the event will open on May 5 and run through May 7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. We hope to see you there.   #ACS2024 #savethedate #thankyou

The conclusion of the second day of the American Coatings Show and American Coatings Conference 2024 marked a successful event. With a bustling show floor and a fully attended conference, the significance of this premier event for the North American coatings industry was evident. Kicked off by the well-attended Fun Run the American Coatings Conference proceeds with 48 sessions welcoming again over 900 attendees from 29 countries. With more the 8.000 attendees the American Coatings Show closes its doors for today. The first day of the American Coatings Show and American Coatings Conference 2024 successfully ended. A busy show floor and a packed conference underlined the must-attend character of the premium event for the North American coatings industry. The Plenary Session at noon kicked off the American Coatings Conference. Robert Roop, CTO of Axalta, delivered a compact presentation on the allignment of sustainability and performance. Michael Krayer and Sean Bullis of BASF received the prestigious AC Conference Award for the best paper submitted. With more than 900 attendees the American Coatings Conference once again proves to attract large numbers of attendees. In 16 sessions a total of 96 presentations are providing a full load of the latest developments and breakthroughs in coatings technology. 💡 Well-prepared for the ACS Conference 💡   Roughly 200 participants attended the nine Pre-Conferece tutorials that were held yesterday just before the official kick-off of the American Coatings Conference in Indianapolis. With 36 participants each, the tutorial introducing coatings formulation and the tutorial on polyurethanes were the most popular, followed by Smart coatings (25). #ACS2024

And the Winners Are… Michael Krayer and Sean Bullis of BASF! This year’s American Coatings Award honors their paper titled “Novel Bimodal High Solid Polymer Dispersions for Architectural Coatings”. Our warmest congratulations! During the Plenary Session, Steve Sides, advisor of the American Coatings Association, and Damir Gagro, director content coatings division and editor in chief at Vincentz Network, handed over the prize to the winners. Michael Krayer will present the findings today Wednesday afternoon in the Architectural Coatings II session. His talk will start at 5:30 pm. #ACS2024 #AmericanCoatingsConference
