Good luck to all the candidates sitting for Part 2 of the American Academy of Health Physics CHP Exam today! Back in 2007, I traveled to my first national Health Physics Society meeting in Portland, Oregon on a travel grant as an undergraduate health physics student. My mentor and dear friend Dennis Hadlock explained the importance of the CHP to our profession and told me about the tradition of wearing hawaiian shirts on the Monday of the meeting in support of those taking the exam. I told him that day that I would become part of that tradition, and here I am 17 years later! It is doubly special today because I get to wear it in support of my husband Henry Bolen - MBA, CSP, ASP, CIT, RRPT, PMP, CM who is taking the exam today. Good luck everyone! #irpa16 #proudchp
