With summer, comes many festivities. One of the big festive traditions in July we celebrate by shooting off fireworks. We want to share a few tips with you to help keep you and your loved ones safe. Firework Safety TIPS 1. Read and follow the directions. 2. Keep a bucket of water or hose close by. 3. A responsible adult should supervise all fireworks activities. 4. Only have one person shoot the fireworks. 5. Use eye protection when shooting fireworks. 6. Never point or throw fireworks at anyone. 7. Do not handle or relight a dud firework. Wait 30 minutes, soak them in water, and dispose of them properly.

The day with the most light is the day we fight. On the first day of summer, the longest day of the year, we shine a light on Alzheimer's awareness and stand together in the fight against this disease. We invite you to join us today, June 20, 2024, in wearing purple. From sunrise to sunset, we wear purple to honor and recognize those who face Alzheimer’s with strength, passion, and endurance. #WearPurple #AlzheimersAwarenessMonth

Meet Katie, a CNA whose dedication and compassion make a difference every day for our Weatherford team. Her commitment to patient care embodies the heart of hospice. Katie says, "I love working in hospice simply because everyone needs a little extra love occasionally, and caring for patients at the end of life is when they need the most love. Brings a smile to my face!" #CNASpotlight #CNAWeek2024 #OurCareFamily #WellBeThereForYou
