In a #cybercrisis, it's important to keep your SOC fully fueled. Affected by the outage? Details on what happened and what to do: During the early morning hours, many organizations began experiencing problems and crashes on their Windows OS computers, specifically the CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor. This was due to a specific update file having an unanticipated effect. CrowdStrike very quickly released a patch that updated the file, and the patch was deployed the hosts. Unfortunately many windows hosts had already begin experiencing crashes and BSOD's. CrowdStrike provided manual steps to boot crashed machines into safe mode and delete the target file. This seems to be working well with our customers. We are working closely with our customers to help recover and to continue monitoring their environment for any further problems or for any attacks that may try to take advantage of this issue. Official information from CrowdStrike https://ow.ly/t7uj50SG6iR Alias is here 24/7/365 for all your cybersecurity needs. #Cybersecurity #Cybercrisis #Cyberawareness #BSOD
