In a groundbreaking move, the State of Colorado's Office of New Americans launched a unique program to bolster the immigrant workforce — a critical piece of our economy. The Benefit Recovery Fund offers unemployment benefits to eligible individuals who receive a W-2, and have taxes withheld from their paychecks, but lack work authorization. AidKit has been entrusted as the administrator of the Fund through a meticulous selection process. Mark A. Efforts didn't stop at outreach; the Spanish Coalition for Housing (SCH) innovatively leveraged Spanish media to reach Latinx communities, while the Adult ESL Tutoring Program - Pui Tak Center's focused work in Chicago's Chinatown exemplified effectiveness - with a remarkable 92% application completion rate.
