Bridge Mentorship applications are now open through Friday, August 2! Founded in 2009, AIA Chicago’s Bridge mentorship program connects AIA Fellows with rising professionals in their first three-to-ten years of practice. It offers an eight-month curriculum of curated programs coupled with informal, one-on-one meetings. Transform Registration is now open! AIA Chicago Transform is an interdisciplinary, interactive series of classes focused on skill building for the business of architecture. This intensive program centers on transformational leadership, utilizing strategic, tactical and operational skill sets designed to affect change in an architect’s individual career and within their firm. Do you know about the new requirement for renewing your Illinois architect license this fall: a minimum of one hour of learning designed to reflect improved understanding of high winds or natural disasters? To help Illinois architects meet this requirement, AIA Illinois has planned a course to be taught by Rose (Geier) Grant, AIA, (Rose Grant, Architectural Services, Bloomington, IL).
