🚀 Kick-off of the AfricaEnergyParks Project! 🚀 After the official launch of the AfricaEnergyParks project, funded by the European Commission, our journey kicked off with a successful virtual meeting on June 27-28, 2024. The meeting was hosted by Aarhus University, our project coordinator, alongside our 11 dedicated partners: Ener-G-Africa, DENG Limited, MASH Makes, Africa GreenTec, Ghana Forestry Commission, Partners in Participatory Development (PAPADEV), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Danish Technological Institute, INOVA+, Ministry of Energy of Ghana, Hormeku-Massis Enterprise Over the next four years, we will be establishing a Renewable Energy Park near Mole National Park, Ghana. This innovative project aims to: 🔋 Harness solar energy and convert agricultural waste into sustainable energy. 🔥 Introduce clean cookstoves for healthier cooking. 🌿 Protect wildlife and combat deforestation. 🌍 Create a scalable model for other regions.
