Last week, team members from ASP and Fortive joined forces to volunteer at several locations for the Boys and Girls Club in Snohomish County, Washington. The mission and core beliefs of Boys & Girls Clubs is to promote safe, positive and inclusive environments for all. Team members kicked off their day with an exciting lineup of activities. The team at the Everett location started the morning by organizing food storage and an equipment shed, while the teams at Cascade conducted a deep clean of the teen room, computer room, kitchen, and dining room. They all then enjoyed a quick lunch to connect with volunteers and staff. In the afternoon, they had a blast connecting with kids through face painting, soccer matches, art projects, and water games! “The positive attention and care that our kids received from Fortive and the amazing employees who stepped in yesterday was impactful for our youth, and we are grateful that you all continue to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs in such a meaningful way,” shared Robert Cannon, Director of Club Resource Development. Summer's here, and you know what that means—our Global Leadership Development Program (GLDP) Internship is in full swing! ☀️🚀 The GLDP Internship is a dynamic 10-week, project-based program supporting various functions within ASP. This opportunity is open to undergraduate students who have demonstrated strong leadership skills. Throughout their time with us, GLDP interns tackle a range of projects that drive meaningful and quantifiable impact on our Core Value Drivers. They are given challenging and autonomous roles where they solve problems rather than just completing tasks, all while gaining hands-on experience with Fortive Business System (FBS) tools. This week, our interns kicked off their journey at our headquarters in Irvine, CA, where they learned about the ASP Mission, Vision, and Values, learned the scope of their summer projects to hit the ground running, and met each other, their teams, and enjoyed some fun bonding activities.
