    On June 18, 2024, Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Antonio Neri delivered the first-ever keynote address at Sphere, and Adcetera contributed as a key creative partner.  Antonio was joined on stage by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang to announce NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE and the new HPE Private Cloud AI, combining HPE and NVIDIA hardware and software in secure, deployment-ready configurations. Sphere was a massive venue for this major announcement, and Adcetera supported it with a set of on-screen animations at jaw-dropping scale—all developed at full speed, in alignment with an evolving narrative and an amazing group of clients who trusted us to deliver flawlessly.  What did it take at our end? Across our content licensing business we've found that not only do they provide valuable reassurance to consumers making purchasing decisions, but they serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of internal teams across engineering, sales, and PR. In today's crowded marketplace, where consumer trust is paramount, credible third-party articles and reviews carry immense weight. And years of research indicate that most consumers regularly or occasionally seek out such endorsements before committing to a purchase. By championing the awards received, not only do we bolster consumer confidence in said product, but also uplift morale within the team responsible for them.     Do product awards matter? It’s a question that I’m sure a lot of brands ask themselves. And it’s something I thought about when reading a product round up for wireless headphones featuring the Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e’s. Underneath the review was the first comment from a reader saying that the Bowers, Sony, B&O and Bose were all equally great, so buy whichever was on promotion and the cheapest. And they have a point. Amongst the ‘A’ brands, there are very few ‘dud’ products anymore. But, if we all want to avoid competing just on price, I would still argue that even amongst such exalted company there are winners and there is an audience that would like to know which. Too many times we get hung-up about the exact readership of the title or the website when there’s a bigger opportunity for the brands to use the logos themselves and with a much wider audience. I think this is particularly important in segments where new customers might be making their first serious investment in a premium product. Wireless headphones and stereo speakers being a good point. In such a case, most customers will still want to know that they are buying the best but equally many will also want to be reassured that they are not making a mistake. And what about in-house teams? Engineers are confident that they are creating the best products they can, but surely, it’s nice for them to have the recognition that independent experts agree? And what about the manufacturing teams? Or the company’s sales & marketeers wanting a bit of extra reassurance that they really do have a winner? Plus, I’m guessing it doesn’t do any harm when trying to boost retailer confidence. We are all so busy moving on to the next products to be launched that we often forget to support what’s already out there. So, it’s key for all brands to get behind the awards that they win and to promote them to the widest possible audience – internally and externally - because, in current times, it seems to be one of the few things in our arsenal that has an impact.

    I often get asked about marketing strategies incorporating AI and data.   Here are four ways I am leveraging AI and data to boost performance for our clients, which you should consider integrating into your planning, whether from an execution or strategic standpoint:   1. Using SEMRush’s domain overview tool and ChatGPT to perform keyword research for search campaigns. Before I create any search campaign, I locate the domains of competing brands. Once I compile the domains, I’ll input them one by one into SEMRush’s domain overview tool. Once input, I will click on “paid search traffic.” Once redirected, I will export a CSV of all paid keywords. Once I retrieve the keywords, I’ll engineer a prompt like, “You are an experienced Google Ads manager at an agency. Please organize these keywords into ad groups.” From here, I identify the keywords my competition is bidding on, ensuring I cover the basics and supplement with any necessary long-tail or KSP-specific keywords. (Want to improve your ad rank? The same tip works for determining keyword density in advertisement copy. Just use SEMRush’s ads copies tracker and engineer an ask that measures for keyword density. Of course, you could also use a COUNTIF function in Excel, but let’s work smarter, not harder.)   2. Using ChatGPT to build schema. Want to develop model schema? Take a location detail page of someone ranking well. Import that URL into Schema validator. Identify the schema being used and prompt an ask to answer commonly-held information. (You’ll need to fine-tune your prompts and ensure clarity, but if you’re not proficient in JavaScript, ChatGPT generates it for you. This saves you time and effort. Once you have a working template, duplicating it becomes much smoother.)   3. Enhance omnichannel measurement by connecting a first-party identifier from your TV provider’s live exposure files. Our TV partner sends live exposure files to a DMP. If you can generate a communicable first-party ID, you can join the data to identify overlap. The data can provide valuable measurement insights. Independently or separately, these datasets can be imported into a DSP in a privacy-compliant manner. In one particular use case, we observed a 17% increase in conversion lift post-advertisement within a 90-day conversion window. (Almost a lawyer, advisable to independently validate all agreements with your company’s legal counsel.)   4. Use non-endemic 1P data from RMNs to enhance your understanding of customer behavior. You can activate data from a RMN absent a CPG-oriented product. We use non-endemic data to understand our core segmentations to design targeted, on-brand creative that aligns with our client’s primary customers. (Google Analytics offers insights into user behavior, but these insights are primarily based on cookie-laden search activities rather than purchase history. Relying on data that captures converted intent is more dependable for decision-making purposes.)  #MarketingStrategyTips
