Welcome Aboard, Robert! We're thrilled to announce Robert LaGrant, CFP® as a new member of our Acts Housing Board of Directors! ✨ Robert brings a wealth of financial expertise to the table, with over 23 years as a Certified Financial Planner and Market Manager with BMO Private Wealth in Milwaukee. He's already jumped in, actively participating in a Finance Committee meeting and attending our Town Hall. Robert is a graduate of Rufus King High School and Bradley University and is active in the community, serving on the Board of Secure Futures and the Adel B. Korkor Foundation for Mental Health. We are thrilled to be able to collaborate with Robert toward our mission of Empowerment Through Homeownership!

Acts Housing is thrilled to have hosted our first Act on Homeownership event in Beloit! This event was all about connecting with our community and sharing how we can support families on their path to homeownership. A huge thank you to our Acts team for their hard work - it paid off! We had an amazing turnout with 55 families attending, and 25 signed up to move forward with our program. We're excited to help them achieve their dream of homeownership!

Welcome Aboard Our Newest Leaders! We're thrilled to announce the addition of Marvin Bynum to our Acts Housing Board of Directors! Marvin brings a wealth of experience in real estate law and community leadership to the table. In just the last year, he's become a passionate advocate for our mission of Empowerment Through Homeownership. As a shareholder at Godfrey & Kahn in Milwaukee, Marvin leverages his expertise to help others achieve their dreams. ️ He's also actively involved in organizations like Harbor District Inc. and Milwaukee College Prep, demonstrating his dedication to building stronger communities. We're excited to have Marvin's guidance and support as we continue to create pathways to homeownership for families across Wisconsin. We're thrilled to announce two additions to our Acts Housing leadership team! Regina Dunkin joins us as the Regional Director for our Beloit office, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to help guide the success of the Beloit initiative and to help us expand services across Rock County. Craig Vermeulen steps into the role of VP of Acts Homes, where he'll leverage his expertise from overseeing new construction and purchase/rehab of single family homes to ensure Acts Homes continues to develop to achieve great things for our communities and families.  Please join us in giving Regina and Craig a warm Acts Housing welcome! We're excited for the positive impact they'll make on our mission of building strong communities through affordable homeownership.

Congratulations to Dawn Horne, our newest homeowner! Dawn recently closed on her first home with the amazing support of her homebuyer coach, Temesgan, and Acts Housing realtor, Jenean Shorter. Together, they found Dawn the perfect place to call her own! Many people feel apprehensive at the beginning of their homeownership journey. That's why Acts Housing is here! We offer a team of dedicated professionals who guide families through every step of the homebuying journey.

We are so fortunate to have Vanaya G. joining our board of Directors. Vanaya, I know your leadership will help us to provide access to homeownership for hundreds of families annually who have been historically locked out.

Welcome Aboard, Vanaya G.! We're thrilled to announce Vanaya Grice as the newest member of our Board of Directors! Vanaya's passion for building housing stability in Milwaukee led her to Acts Housing, and we're so grateful for her commitment to our mission. She is Senior Director of Customer Success (Tech) at Northwestern Mutual, where she has been for 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility. She serves on the Board and as Fund Development Chair of PEARLS. She also has her own boutique hair braiding business and teaches hair braiding at Bradley Tech. Vanaya has her MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and is a member of TEMPO. Vanaya brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our team. We're excited to collaborate with Vanaya and work together towards our mission of Empowerment Through Homeownership! Maria's dedication and hard work paid off, and she's now enjoying her dream home. Rehabbing isn't for everyone, but with the right support, it's achievable. We recently hosted a Community Partnership 101 event in Beloit, and it was fantastic to connect with so many of you. A special welcome to our new Regional Director in Beloit, Regina Dunkin!
