Greetings! Marianne C. Nichols here. I’m so excited to be taking over our LinkedIn for the day! It has been one year since I joined the Actabl Team as the Director of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances. I love my role because I love people and networking! I love everything about Hotels, since beginning my hospitality career at the iconic Boston Harbor Hotel wearing a headset taking reservation calls. After spending many years on property in many different departments, my favorite things about working in a hotel are the energy (no two days are the same) and camaraderie (hoteliers are a certain kind of people; my kind of people). I’m grateful to still be working in hospitality, though on the tech side now, enabling hotels to find technology partners to enhance their guests' experiences. I get to discover and learn about new hospitality technology every day! I’m a New Yorker living in Westchester (which in my opinion is not upstate..) with my husband Brendan and three children Reese (5), Declan (3) and Brooks (1). I love to travel, read, see Broadway shows and eat (not cook). I always have music playing and my cocktail of choice is an espresso martini.
