Access Holdings recently welcomed our new class of summer interns!  We’re thrilled to provide these 16 talented individuals with professional development opportunities across various teams within our firm this summer.    Access interns will have the chance to acquire hands-on experience in the private equity sector, ranging from engagement in our mentorship program to contributing to the advancement of our portfolio company and firm research.   We are excited for a great summer ahead!

This week, we are kicking off our Leadership Summit and will gather our platform leaders, advisors, and the Access team. During the event, we will focus on how the challenges facing middle market businesses today can present opportunities to advance modern digital tools and automated processes to build enduring businesses. Access Holdings Founder Kevin McAllister and Managing Director Nik Kapauan recently expanded on this theme in our latest Access Insight, “Building Modern Businesses.” In the piece, Kevin and Nik outline the “Access Modern Business Framework,” six building blocks that provide our perspective on how companies can continue to innovate and scale in the new digital paradigm. Access Founder and Managing Partner Kevin McAllister recently spoke at Oasis Marinas’ General Manager Summit, hosted by non-profit educational partner Living Classrooms Foundation.   This event brought together Oasis leaders spearheading the standard for innovation, enduring partnerships, and community service within the maritime industry. We look forward to supporting Oasis Marinas as it continues to expand and deliver industry-leading marina and hospitality management services to customers.

Last week, Access was fortunate to host Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore for their 75th Youth of the Year Competition, which celebrates teens across the city for their exemplary leadership. This marks the second consecutive year this event was held at the Access Acceleration Center or “A2C.”   The A2C represents the cornerstone of our focus on innovation and scaling. We are also committed to using this space to serve our community.   We are proud to partner with The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore and play a role in their mission to guide teens toward a bright and productive future. Congratulations to the 2024 Youth of the Year, Ashawnte. We look forward to supporting Ashawnte as she moves on to the statewide competition this month!
