AAC&U and Campus Compact are excited to announce the Democracy Inventory Project design team. 21 higher education leaders were selected to help advance campus efforts to strengthen students’ community and civic engagement. Using existing research and practices related to democratic engagement, civic learning, and democracy-building in higher education, the design team will develop inventory tools and materials and pilot them on several campuses. The ultimate goal is to provide higher education leaders with comprehensive and adaptable resources to assess and enhance their efforts in strengthening democratic values and engagement. This project is supported by a grant from the Lumina Foundation.
