San Francisco International has opened the final section of its $2.5 billion Harvey Milk Terminal 1. The Harvey Milk Terminal was the first airport terminal in the world to earn “Platinum” certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council and the first airport terminal in the world to earn full WELL certification, for measuring, certifying, and monitoring building features that impact human health and well-being. “Harvey Milk Terminal 1 represents a new benchmark for the airport experience at SFO,” said Airport Director Ivar C.
