88.5 WFDD, Public Radio for the Piedmont, is the only public radio station of its kind located in the Piedmont Triad. We broadcast news, information, and public affairs programming covering the arts, people, and institutions in the area. We are the state's charter NPR® member and the longest continuously broadcasting public radio station in North Carolina. WFDD is a member of the North Carolina Public Radio Association. It is a broadcast service of Wake Forest University.

We want to send a huge thank you and congratulations to our Listener and Donor Services team who have been absolutely killing it during our Fall Fund Drive. Near the beginning of our Drive we made a few changes...we've promoted our own Julien Patton to Listener and Donor Services Manager and we're so excited to welcome Lorie McCroskey as our Development Director! The two have been doing some fantastic work during this experimental Fund Drive and we're incredibly proud of what they've accomplished so far.
