The Soil Advances journal calls for papers for its special issue “Soil Carbon 4 per 1000, a decade of soil health enhancement”. This special issue calls for studies on soil carbon in enhancing soil functions, especially understanding what is possible, what is needed, and what is likely to be successful. It also calls for studies on regenerative agricultural practices that enhance soil health and carbon sequestration. The "4 per 1000" Virtual Fair has been accepted as a Partner Event of the EU Green Week! As of 2021 the Virtual Fair has been an integral part of "4 per 1000" enabeling participants to present their latest work around soil health to a wider audience. This year the Fair will kick off with the "New Members World Tour" on 17 June. We encourage all newcomers to join us on a virtual journey around the globe, to present their stands, and to exchange with other participants. The Virtual Fair 2024 will be open from 17 to 21 June. Discussing soil health at the SB60 UN Climate Change Conference We were delighted to host a panel session in our side event today at SB60, the UN Climate Change Conference, in Bonn. The session was on 'Soil Health for People and Planet: Leveraging policy, integrating governance, exploring collaboration'. Our high profile panel provided a rich discussion and debate through an array of thought provoking questions on whether enough is being done to protect soils globally. It was great to engage with the delegates and highlight key messages for the negotiators and policymakers at #SB60. Thank you to our supporters and partners who helped to facilitate the session and those who attended. Together we are helping to get soil health high on the agenda.
