Seventeen team members at #NASAMarshall joined an elite group within the agency’s ranks on June 11 as they accepted an award granted to less than 1% of NASA’s workforce: the Silver Snoopy. NASA astronaut Kate Rubins presented to these NASA employees and contractors who have gone above and beyond in contributing to the human spaceflight program.

Celebrating Juneteenth National Independence Day!
Today is #Juneteenth National Independence Day. On this day in 1865, #USArmy troops freed the last of enslaved African Americans in Galveston Bay, Texas, marking the official the end of slavery. In 1979, Texas became the first state to make Juneteenth an official holiday.
