What are effective networking strategies for professionals in high turnover industries?

For someone who runs a doughnut Shop , that's big , for someone millions is big , while we're only a speck in the Universe , Just keep yourself aware where you are in the Universe & let things big or small Overwhelm you, it's only a perspective Do what you want to do & how you want to do? You know the best , Plan accordingly , there can be no reason for Overwhelm when at the end we're catering to a very small audience in comparison to the global population If you're a Gold fish , there's another bigger than you, if you're a Shark , something else is bigger than you so just pass that thought in your mind , & it will ease you out & allow you to do your bit

Good time management reduces stress. Plan ahead and control the amount of time you spend on specific tasks or activities. There are two ways to assess time, knowing your own strengths with performing certain tasks or leaning from others who are more proficient. Practice for example at performing more tasks per hour by figuring out what is essential and less important to completing a task. Dividing a task in to manageable or separate parts, collaborating or delegating to others is another way to meet deadlines. Bottom line, working with an efficient team reduces your stress and completes the project.

When I attend any event I have intentions to listen, learn, and give. Abundance is over looked in business what I have learned in my experience of networking is that I can’t control the people or opportunities in any environment but I can control how I make people feel & I know how different people operate. I prefer working with and creating connections with givers. How do I interview for those people? I engage in conversations asking questions and practicing “getting gotten”. So the person feels heard and listened to. Trusting that at the end of the convo they will ask me questions. What always surprises me is a lot of people DONT! That is all I need to know I feel like interacting and practicing great communication is my gift! 🎁

Network, network, network. If you're in a high-turnover profession or industry, that means there will always be opportunities available. The more people you know, the less likely you'll find yourself unemployed.

The people you're networking with are in the same industry/position that you are, they know it's hard and can cause stress. Don't try and sugarcoat your situation for people to like you. Be honest and authentic.

I suggest identifying a mindfulness practice and exercise routine you can do that helps you better manage your mind and heart prior to any in-person networking. These activities will help you to move your nervous system out of the fight-flight-freeze mode which prevents you from thinking clearly and calmly. In a more accepting "what is" yet feeling determined to solve the problem state of mind, your mind and heart will be more open and receptive to both innovative and simple ideas.
