i completely agree. one of the most things that were educational to me during my bachelor's degree was helping out my peers as i was able to be exposed to many different types of projects each within its own unique situation, while not yet fully participating in it i gained an insight. in my professional career i came to find out that this was very similar to working as a consultant where you are asked for information about a very specific thing in a very specific project.

I believe gaining experience, helps people to strengthen their knowledge from school, and bring the data from paper to real life.
