In real life, we have depth context because we see the world with two eyes, but the content you're producing (unless you're doing 3d stuff) is only showing 1 perspective. with this in mind, even the smallest movement of the camera (left, right, up, or down) can immediately give a parallax effect and communicate depth.

This is a malformed question. Move the camera because you should, not because you can. The entire point of any camera placement or movement should be to support the story, and you have to work on context. In general I'm not interested in camera movements for camera movement sake. Every camera move must relate to a character emotion or overall story movement. Speilberg uses camera movements one way and Aronofsky's The Wrestler uses it another. Let the story speak to the movement of the camera. The greatest films are static shots where we understand the structure of the film and the emotions of the characters without a single camera movement.

The question posed is problematic and general. It has been mentioned a few times already in this post, but understanding the motivation and being intentional are super important. Film productions are used to tell stories, so the "best" shot that's engaging and dynamic will always depend on what is the desired story/feeling/emotion being told in that scene. A camera movement that may best serve one scene i.e. "while tracking back and zoom in", may not serve another, rather "while tracking back and rack focus" would serve better. Although we have also seen awesome camera movements that are technically beautiful, but serve no story purpose. The camera and story are partners, one informs the other and vice versa. Create an envious dance.

Remain intentional, and know why you are using a certain movement and how it helps to tell your story. Are you building suspense? Are you revealing a location? Are you trying to evoke a certain emotion? These are all reasons why you may use camera movement. Just remember sometimes, less is more.

Every shot should be driven by the motivation of the narrative. Try working backwards to determine what the camera should do to best serve that narrative. If you find yourself in a situation where you’re forcing a camera move to make your shot engaging, then your shot is likely without purpose and needs to be revisited. Camera movement should always be additive to the moment, and not a crutch to make that shot monetarily more engaging.
