Almost all the airlines that operate today use a Passenger Services System (PSS). This consists of primarily three parts 1. Airline Sales and Service (including Reservations, Ticketing and other related capabilities) 2. Inventory, Availability and Schedules 3. Departure control systems Very few airlines (< 10%) use an in-house system. Rest leverage SaaS platforms from one of the main providers e.g. Amadeus, Sabre, Navitaire being the main ones.
