Judging by the things around you, you may fail or be overwhelmed.

Identifying a niche that resonates with one can be hard, but it's quite easy and tricky a bit. Here's something that helped me during my early journey. I had started writing for any gigs I saw just to build myself and I did volunteer a lot which came in handy as well, so a part that I connected so well with when writing was for founders, managers etc, especially on areas that deal with the customers (I am someone who is emotional and I try to fit myself in the person I am trying to address), maybe trying to get them to sign up or know how the product/ service is relevant for them and getting it from my client at that point. One thing I found helpful is starting just anywhere, but be intentional about curving a niche for yourself.

Brand Building most times can be misunderstood when not properly shared. Thanks to social media where visibility is great, but navigating it to one's advantage requires skill. The Social space is a key factor to enhancing ones brand, but please know who specifically you want to address, know their pain point, and bring yourself low to get the issues they face which indirectly means them getting you to work for them or referring you to others who may need your services. I took a break for a while to have a reflection on what I want people to know me for. Also, branding entails visuals, and using them helps out for easy thought flow, and clear pieces of information. Writing now has various ways it can be represented to build a brand.

It can and will be taken away from you at some point in the future.

This combination makes it so people 1) Feel happy whenever they read/watch/listen to your stuff (entertainment = emotional) 2) Feel content and proud after they read/watch/listen to your stuff (educational = logical) After all, people buy based on emotions and rationalize based on logic. You want them to "buy" from you, but also feel about it so they keep coming back.
