All diese muss sauber ausgearbeitet und dokumentiert werden und in regelmäßigen Abständen reviewend werden. Wichtig ist bei einer virtuellen Zusammenarbeit immer, dass die Führungskraft auslotet wie eng die einzelnen Mitarbeiter geführt und getrackt werden möchten.

Jeder Mensch ist anders und agiert auch in Situation unterschiedlich. Vertrauen durch eine persönliche Beziehung stellt die Grundlage von erfolgreichem virtuellen Zusammenarbeiten dar. Nur wer dem anderen Vertraut kann auch ohne räumliche Nähe sicher sein, dass alle am gleichen Strang ziehen. Aber wie Vertrauen virtuell aufbauen? Ich habe für mich festgestellt, dass es vor allem über offene und ehrliche und aber auch wertschätzende Kommunikation und Austausch am besten gelingt.

In my past experience at a global organization, frequent early morning and late evening calls were commonplace, which I always felt was suboptimal. With today's modern work environment and digital tools, such synchronous meetings should be the exception, not the rule. Many meetings could be replaced with asynchronous collaboration, reserving synchronous meetings for debates, urgent crises, or discussions where diverse perspectives would lead to a better outcome. Often, we default to 30-minute or one-hour meetings that could be done "offline," leading to overcrowded schedules and hindering the deep work necessary for innovation and productivity.
Finally, establish a robust feedback loop within your virtual team. Encourage members to provide feedback on processes, tools, and their collaboration experience. This feedback is invaluable for continuous improvement and helps in addressing any issues promptly. Make use of surveys, one-on-one meetings, or open forums where team members can express their thoughts freely. Generell in Teams und für gute Führung, beim virtuellen Zusammenarbeiten aber noch wichtiger sind Feedback-Loops. Sich regelmäßig die Zeit gemeinsam zu nehmen, um über den Stand der Dinge zu sprechen ist wichtig, um a) Vertrauen zu bilden und b) den Status der vereinbarten Ziele zu reviewen. Aber auch ein Feedback zur Zusammenarbeit - was läuft gut, was könnte und sollte verbessert werden ist wichtig, um eine gute Arbeitskultur zu erschaffen und zu halten. Hierbei hab ich für mich festgestellt, dass es nicht nur wichtig ist Feedback zu geben, sondern auch Feedback von Mitarbeitern zu erbitten und ihnen damit auch Raum zu geben, ihre Meinung zu äußern.

This isn't a once size fits all approach. Take into consideration a team who's Virtual, but have the means necessary to connect in person once a quarter or twice a year...working from home has it pros/cons depending on who you ask. I'd make a point to use a couple different means to stay connected and foster an environment of trust and collaboration. I'd set time for regular phone calls, try to meet up for lunch or coffee. I try to set up time to catch up with colleagues on non work matters when I can take a break and get some steps in. Being able to get to know each other in and outside of work allows for a deeper level collaboration.
