It can vary from person to person. I prefer to follow the official events or documentation and open-source repositories if available. I am not a fan of video tutorials as they take time, can be outdated, and may not be available for emerging technologies.

Frente al cambio se deben tener ciertas precauciones, en el mundo tecnológico el tema no es tan simple como aumentar una versión de una librería o utilizar una nueva herramienta de diseño. Como todo proceso el cambio debe ser analizado, gestionado y supervisado. Preguntas como ¿por qué?¿cuál es el objetivo?¿cuál es el impacto, tanto en el equipo de trabajo como los usuarios?¿hay experiencias positivas/negativas?¿existe documentación o foro donde realizar consultas?¿mi equipo de trabajo esta capacitado?¿el cliente tiene conciencia sobre eventuales problemas? son importantes para muchas veces no caer en la tentación de instalar la ultima versión de un sistema solo por capricho y después ver que se causo más ruido que soluciones.

Because of inherit biases, however, senior employees need to not only adapt to emerging technologies, but they need to prove that they are adept at them.

I find that playing with new tech is important. It’s critical to understand new technologies and applications, but also to understand their prerequisites and supporting structures, otherwise you can’t actually use them effectively

I teach others to help reinforce and reflect on how technologies have worked. Often this is just some show and tell, or supporting others during adoption. Teaching improves your knowledge as much as the students, in my experience.

It’s important to recognise when a new technology doesn’t meet the need, or needs to be redesigned or thought about differently. Managing to avoid any sunk cost bias during adoption is important, to prevent poor practise developing or inadequate benefits
