I agree with experimenting with tools and figuring out which one best suits our style of facilitation and the type of structure we want to adopt for our purpose. Be careful, however, not to make the mistake of relying on tools for the success of a project. Without the specific and transversal hard and soft skills of a facilitator, a tool can do very little.

Facilitating remotely is certainly difficult, but the same rules apply as in-presence facilitation. The screen and virtual environments can be as much a barrier as, on the contrary, an advantage. It is up to us facilitators to enable people to perceive remote engagement as an opportunity
