Vertrauen wird vor allem auch aufgebaut in dem man als Führungskraft Vorbild ist und das selbst macht, was man von seinen Mitarbeitern erwartet. Mit anpacken und die gleiche Arbeit machen. Das ist die Devise, die einige Führungskräfte heute bei den Zahlen auswerten und Analysen durchgehen komplett vergessen.

Here, the confidence created by the leader, trust built between the team and the leader and the willingness of the leader to take responsibility and ownership of the outcome is the game changer.

Na minha experiência, construir confiança é fundamental para incentivar a equipe a sair da zona de conforto e assumir riscos. A confiança é a base para qualquer equipe disposta a se aventurar no desconhecido juntos. Sempre mostro que valorizo a opinião de todos ouvindo ativamente e considerando suas perspectivas. Deixo claro que estou lá para apoiá-los, mesmo quando as coisas não saem como planejado. Essa rede de segurança de confiança é crucial, pois dá à equipe a confiança necessária para dar saltos de fé, sabendo que não serão deixados sozinhos.

Walk the talk, lead by example. Why? Out of the 5 senses human beings have, vision is the most developed sense. Human beings subconsciously react to things they see first. When as a leader you set examples people tend to follow. Couple of things you should do: ➡️ First you should be sure about the risk ➡️ Have a proper calculation of the possibility of ifs & buts ➡️ List out possible -ve outcomes ➡️ Share them with the team ➡️ Encourage them to take the risk ➡️ Give case studies ➡️ Motivate them by telling success stories

Leadership is about modeling the behavior you want to see in your team. If you want them to take risks, you need to show them how it’s done. Implement small, fast, iterative experiments to mitigate fear and limit the blast radius when things go wrong. Share a recent experience where you took a bold step, detailing your thought process and outcomes. Encourage your team to ask questions and discuss the learning points. This not only builds trust but also empowers them to embrace risks and innovate with confidence.

Na minha experiência, incentivar o diálogo é essencial para promover uma cultura de risco. É preciso um local disponível para que os indivíduos possam trocar ideias livremente, sem julgamento, como por exemplo, uma caixa de bilhetes anônimos, sendo um brainwriting. Sempre incentivo todos a expressarem seus pensamentos, perguntas e preocupações, como em um brainstorming. Quando os membros da equipe se sentem ouvidos e respeitados, estão mais inclinados a contribuir com suas percepções únicas e a se apropriar de novos desafios.

Reconheça e recompense a inovação e a disposição para experimentar. Elogie publicamente as iniciativas criativas e os esforços para tentar novas abordagens, independentemente do resultado final.

Ressourcen bereitstellen ist wichtig. Schulungsmaterial, Informationen und Unterlagen müssen aktuell sein und sollten aber auch auf alle Lerntypen angepasst sein. Meiner Meinung nach eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben der Führungskraft wenn es um Ressourcen geht. Manche wollen hören, andere reden lieber darüber und nochmal andere probieren lieber aus. All das muss während einer Schulung / beim bereitstellen von Informationen bedacht werden.

Eine Führungskraft ist nur so erfolgreich und so stark wie das Team dahinter. Erfolg ist keine One-Man-Show. Wer erfolgreich sein will muss andere dazu befähigen selbst erfolgreich zu sein. Autonomie ist wie bei der Erziehung auch, das wichtigste Thema um den gegenüber Selbstvertrauen zu schenken und Vertrauen aufzubauen. Und für Führungskräfte kann es ein großes Stück der Work-Life-Balance zurück bringen.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received, and always keep in mind when trying something new, is to ask, "What's the worst thing that could happen?". This is not only encouraging, but also shows that the risks are often minimal and the potential negative outcomes might not be as severe as I initially thought. I link this directly to "learning and brick-by-brick self-development". Why? Because if there's an explanation for how we grow stronger, it's in the outcomes of the risks we take every single day.

To become better at risk-taking, start small. In their wonderfully written book, Great by Choice, Jim Collins and Morten Hansen recommend "fire bullets, then cannonballs." The bullets represent something that is low-risk and low-cost, whereas the cannonballs represent the much more significant risks. Do not allow the risk of failure to prevent you from trying new ventures. The more you risk and fail, the greater your chance of ultimate long-term success.

Risk taking abilities are not everyone’s cup of tea. While the above mentioned tips come handy; one must take a note of the cultural and beliefs of one’s team. Past experiences of failures especially at work haunts you for long and hence people choose a safe approach rather than taking risks. As a leader, one must ensure that you visualise with them the consequences of both success and failure to bring them onboard on a project that has risks.
