I believe that being extremely clear about the goals and reflecting on them with the team is very important at first, then together with the team adjust each role and think metrics. It is important to leave room for people to learn skills and advance as a professional instead of being too frugal. The team needs to be motivated and unite towards the collective goals.

Robotics is an evolving field. Encourage team members to continuously learn through workshops, online courses, or industry events. This keeps the team updated with the latest technologies and trends.

Cultivate a culture of active listening within the team. Encourage members to attentively hear and comprehend each other's perspectives before formulating responses. Active listening promotes understanding and minimizes misunderstandings.

I would add that online teams need to think further about communication. I have seen all too often trouble happening with remote teams due to the lack of shared context and understanding of each others perspective.
