The only consistent thing in life is change. So when the market changes, you will have to adapt your goals, your strategy and your go to market plan. In my experience, the secret here is to quickly adapt to the new realities and make sure that you understand what are the things that you can still continue to do and what are the things or processes or activities that you have to change. Some things will need small changes, some bigger changes. Make sure you quickly understand the difference.

Since change is a constant, our goals must adjust with the pace of change as well. Maybe this goal adjustment needs to be the creation of a new goal. Maybe things just got tougher for us and the economy tanked and we need to set our sites on something more in line with our true capacity.
