The process I like to use on projects is looking at the bigger picture first. Understanding commonalities of all projects if they are similar and then prioritize tasks that will affect the majority of the projects first. Figuring out what the more time consuming tasks will be first and focusing on them usually is the best route for me and then making sure I block my calendar as much as possible to create reasonable amount of focus time for myself. Getting distracted during the more complex tasks tends to slow me down way more because I have to sometimes back peddle to remember what I was doing more so than on simpler tasks.
