In my experience, I have applied six sigma principles focusing on waste reduction in addition to price negotiation which tends to have high attrition rate. I deploy innovation such as improving product life which reduces consumption iterations hence controlling demand. Additionally, I am adept at SRM which leads to collaborative continuous improvement such as substituting material for less wearable eg replacing metal with rubber or vice versa. Further, I also advocate for efficiency especially for MRO by deploying IOT capabilities (condition monitoring) which result in parts being replaced when fully utilised rather than using manual approaches that increases waste. I apply the value chain approach (TCO) that looks at interdependencies.
