Tapping into PMI methodologies might be very helpful to understand the importance of identifying and analyzing our stakeholders. Due diligence on this task might be very helpful not only within Project Management, where stakeholder analysis has it's well deserved place, but also in operations, where in contrary to Project Management we might stick to the same stakeholders for way longer period than just within the time-frame of a project. One of the useful tools can be power-interest matrix where depending on power and interest of stakeholders, they are placed within one of four areas: - Regularly Engage - Keep Satisfied - Keep Informed - Maintain Interest Basing on this we can proceed with various strategies depending on the selected area.

To truly connect with your stakeholders, it's more about tuning into your emotional intelligence (EQ) than relying on tools like DISC or MBTI. By honing in on your EQ, you will start to notice the little things about how different people prefer to communicate and receive information. Some might value concise, data-driven conversations, while others might resonate more with storytelling or visual presentations.

By using a specialist tool such as Deloitte’s Business Chemistry you can identify better how to communicate with stakeholders and interact with them. As a general rule of thumb I would say that any group needs a driver, that way the conversation advances.

Clear Communication: Clearly articulate the project's goals, objectives, and benefits. Use simple and concise language to ensure everyone understands the project's purpose.

Build Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders. Understand their perspectives and work to find common ground.

Using clear and understandable language, not tech/jargon heavy in order to be sure our message is well understood is a part of efficient communication. Still, principles of efficient communication apply, such as: - Cadences set to report in timely manner with messaging/presentation adapted to audience/stakeholders - Agenda shared before the meetings, so everyone can be on the same page with expectations - Possibly make data visual to not make it just raw, but also to make it easy to analyse, draw conclusions and provide insights - Embrace both successes and failures to keep the communication honest and build trust. -

By employing a combination of these strategies, you can effectively build support for your project and create a positive environment for its successful implementation.
