A hybrid CV that shows both is suitable for people who want to get a job position at the management or leadership level of an organization. Format is the most important part while making a CV. When I was starting out, I did not have much jobs to show so I focused more on showcasing additional skills part. Now after 4-5 years in Industry, my CV gives an overview of what kind of work I have done with clear idea on my position there + my responsibilities. BUT do not get too caught up in enrolling to multiple courses just because they are free. Make an effort to apply these skills (which will also take time) once you finish one course. After all, learning without practice will just remain as stock knowledge - and may not necessarily translate to a skill.

Maybe receiving an award and various certificates and memberships cannot indicate that a person really deserves to receive it, but there is definitely an effort behind it. Many employers value this effort and consider it a great bonus for job seekers.
