Art collection serves the dual purpose of personal enjoyment and public display. Today our digital identities have high significance, being openly presented for others to see. The practice of collecting Art finds its roots in the ancient civilizations. People gathered art and recognized it in temples, tombs, and sanctuaries, often utilizing it to showcase magnificence. Verification of NFTs will be seamlessly integrated into the digital landscape, and as our world becomes increasingly digitalized, this trend is expected to persist.

The implementation of Blockchain in art has allowed creators to integrate into the world of buying and selling their creations. Now, artists can track the commercial journey of their work and benefit from a speculative economy reserved for oligarchs (let's remember the surge in prices of contemporary art, the loans from auction houses, the UBS case, etc.). While it doesn't completely solve the problem of plagiarism, nor does it address speculation and price manipulation (although that is not its primary purpose), it gives the artist a central role they didn't have before and from which they were totally or partially excluded.
