Self doubt is often rooted in overthinking, the proverbial "Paralysis by Analysis", in trying to anticipate every possible failure. To combat this, give yourself the chance to take that first step forward; there is nothing more empowering than action. Seek opportunities to provide yourself with positive reinforcement, as mentioned in other posts here set small achievable goals and celebrate those when achieved. Do this continually and increase the complexity of those milestones over time. The goal is not how big the milestone or goal but rather the continued movement in the direction you seek. Overtime, self doubt will be replaced by abundant confidence.

I would say from a personal point, I didn't know what getting things done meant, I just did my tasks and at the end has self doubt, couldn't imagine myself really finishing a task and growing at it but when you set small task, you enjoy small victories that build your esteem and with time you get things done and gain confidence in defending yourself on task and performance basis.

Setting achievable and measurable goals can serve as stepping stones towards building confidence. Rather than overwhelming oneself with grandiose objectives, breaking them down into smaller, manageable tasks fosters a sense of accomplishment and progress. Celebrating each milestone reached, no matter how minor, reinforces confidence and motivates further action.

On many occasions, dividing the objectives into micro-objectives allows for greater clarity, better projection and an optimal way to develop any type of project. We can escape from the general noise of a general objective, getting into intermediate objectives, more attainable, more achievable and easier to execute. In this way, we can advance step by step towards the final objective.

Every person is different so take the time to reflect on what really fills your cup and restores you. Life and work is a balancing act but know putting your needs and mental health first is not selfish, it is essential.
