Organization is key. using your calendar to block off certain times for tasks and using a task manager to keep on top of everything is very important when working remotely. Many people will either see their productivity increase or decrease dramatically when working remotely. You need to consider your personal preferences regarding structure. Are you very independent and autonomous or do you like having someone tell you what to do? If you are someone who needs more structure, you might consider looking to find a mentor or accountability buddy to keep you on track. Joining a network of peers can be a great way to cut the isolation and get the creative juices flowing.
