Teach them the fundamentals first, and then build their confidence gradually. Training the right way from the beginning is a must. Teach them to be organized and approach troubleshooting in a logical way. If it’s not A.) it’s B.), if it’s not B). It’s C.) Teach them to use simple DOS commands to prevent single-point-of-failure! Teach them not to be afraid of technically difficult INCIDENTS or TASKS. Do some research, use the tools to resolve it themselves. If they do, you will help them to enjoy the wonder of discovery! They will learn to be progressive!

A way I got better at repairing is simply repairing my own or friends or better yet, get your hands on run down computers. Identify the problem and troubleshoot step by step to isolate. Best of all, YouTube. It has everything, use it and mimic it to your best of your ability. Remember the compotents as your working on them. Before you know it, you'll know what something does and where it goes.
