Old Story: "There are never enough hours in the day." New Story: "There's always enough time for what's most important." Entrepreneurs must make the conscious choice to put in the "Big Rocks" first (a la Steven Covey) and squeeze everything else in the cracks. For us, it's a continual process of committing (and recommitting) to what's most important.

Do less - Choose 3 things to do each day. Sometimes doing 3 big things each day is enough. If you try to do everything, you rush, and nothing gets done. What can you give to others? Visualise the outcome you want.

Time off is inherently productive. Although ironically, trying to be too competitive with your downtime might unravel that. It isn't about how much yoga you can do, or how far you can run. It's simply about allowing the brain to cognitively process outside of work time – this is what is productive. Some people do this with more sleep. Some people read. Some people climb mountains. Find what you love while being off work, and lean into that. You'll find that your brain continues to work in the background anyway so that when you arrive back at your desk/laptop, thoughts are more filtered and you're more prepared for the work ahead.

If you work out too much everyday you will burn out. It's the same with work. You need rest, and rest days so you can recover and grow stronger. To process some of what's happened. Doing other activities like sport, or just relaxing doing nothing can really help your work. It's super important to take time off to rest. Business is all about building systems. I like to start by writing down the system in a document - a playbook. What are the steps I take, and I then record myself on loom doing that job. Eliminate, Automate, Delegate. When it's all written down like that, I can then see if all of the steps are really necessary. Can I take some parts out? How to simplify it? Automate - can I use a tool to do it? Like zapier, or some software so I don't need to do this in the future. Delegate - with the system written out, it's then much easier to train someone else. I can just give the doc to them, and they can ask questions if they have any.
