How can community service organizations collaborate with schools to promote youth development?

Having more people that youth can relate to, people they can see themselves in to be able to see positive outcomes. Just listening to what they have to say without having to fix it to just support by being there. If I had someone around that I could relate to, someone that actually wanted to hear what I had to say and listen I think it would have made a huge difference in how I view the world then. Youth need people to care and listen that way we can create and improve programs that are for the youth by youth with a little experience and guidance for people who care about there futures

In the US when you collaborate with schools you can reach a microcosm of the society. But in societies other than US, the schools are differentiated for different sections of society and hence the collaboration will not have the desired effect
