But the most important thing is to meet at shorter or longer intervals and to have lunch or dinner together or to have a joint team event...

Building team connections remotely reminds me of a pen pal relationship. You don't know what to say, when to say it, how much detail to include, and when one more message becomes too many messages. As a remote employee of five years, I've experienced all of these hesitations at one time or another. So how do I get past the inherent awkwardness of distance? I find the most success via the calendar. Reserving time on coworkers' calendars for one-on-one conversations removes one of the hurdles of impromptu friendliness.

Definitely, communication between team members, keeping them informed of the progress of work, and following up with them is one of the most important foundations for the success of any project or company, and weak communication or not holding regular meetings will lead to weakening the work spirit of the team, delaying any tasks, expanding the scope of the project, and causing a lot of disadvantages.

For me, I always hold meetings with my team members to teach them the latest technologies and innovations and encourage them to enter the most important courses that are compatible with their specialty. Sometimes I provide them with financial support as well.

Nowadays, there is no big difference between remote/onsite work. Automation and optimization are the key values. Try to automate everything, from onboarding to simple ticket requests. Share knowledge among your team weekly to be on the same page. Be positive and monitor the progress of each team member. And don't distract people from their work.
