Every step before this is great, however if you're a real pro- you should have an idea of what use cases are going to be impactful to your client. You should have a pretty good idea of 3-5 likely problems that they might be facing that you can help solve. The above "listen actively" is important bc you may find your next use case that could be you new best one. Still though, pros should have a good understanding of client business before they even pick up the phone to say "hello." If you know the problem and have solved it before, then creating a step by step process will be easy and mostly standardized. This creates credibility and should still have just a little bit of room for customization.
