Being asked to share an example of a success or some time your skills made an impact on a project or serving a client better is a common interview question that I stammered through. The addition of the prompt suggesting to utilize (USE) your experiences on jobs that show your attention to detail made it much easier and would make it flow better which is exactly why you prepare for something important.

I believe that thorough preparation is the foundation of attention to detail and accuracy. For example, before any major meeting/project, invest time in researching the client/project. This helps you to anticipate potential issues or questions. Another aspect that I consider crucial is being personable and remembering specifics about colleagues/clients. This not only builds relationships but also allows you to tailor your work. When I was overseeing high-stakes projects for a major client, I implemented a double-check system. Each piece of work underwent multiple layers of review before it saw the client. This significantly reduced errors and ensured deadlines were met. The client was highly satisfied with the reliability of our work.
The accuracy of your resume is a direct reflection of your attention to detail. Ensure that it's meticulously proofread, free of errors, and formatted consistently. Highlight any roles or responsibilities that required precision, such as managing databases or auditing financial records. Use clear, concise language to describe these experiences and quantify your achievements if possible. A flawless resume not only speaks to your professionalism but also silently affirms your claim to accuracy.

Essential to tailor to job description from company website instead of any job search engines. Also review for active voice which is preferable over passive voice.
During the interview, how you communicate can be just as telling as what you communicate. Speak clearly and concisely, and listen carefully to the interviewer's questions before responding. This shows that you are thoughtful and considerate in your communication, traits that are often associated with detail-oriented individuals. If you need a moment to think about your answer, take it—rushing can lead to mistakes, which may undermine your claim to accuracy.

I agree that communication is key. In my experience I have found that what we say is important but also how we say things. I believe this includes non-verbal communication. We send signals well before we speak and while we are speaking. I read something once that has stuck with me in regards to when you are asked a question and you don't know how to reply at that moment. It went something like, "That is a good question, let me get back to you or can I get back to you."

One thing I find helpful about effective communication is understanding the questions asked; with this one is able to effectively answer. Additionally one could have the correct answers but being overconfident could lead to overwhelming responses. Just be calm , collected and focused.
To truly impress, show that you understand the specific details and requirements of the role you're applying for. Research the company and the position ahead of time, and think about how attention to detail and accuracy are critical to the job. During the interview, tie your skills directly to these requirements. For instance, if the role involves quality control, discuss how your keen eye for detail will help maintain high standards.

When interviewing a candidate that understands the role, or asks questions about the job duties, it allows both parties to be clear about how a candidate's skills fit the position. It also helps to identify growth opportunities for the applicant and the training investment for the hiring manager. It's also a good idea to research the company you are interviewing with so you are familiar with the organization.
Asking insightful questions during the interview can also showcase your attention to detail. Inquire about the specific systems or procedures the company uses, or ask for examples of projects that would benefit from your meticulous approach. These types of questions demonstrate that you're already thinking about how you can contribute to the company in a meaningful way and that you're focused on the finer points of the role.

Asking insightful questions is an opportunity to help the hiring manager see you and your skills will fit well in this position and the company. Framing your questions with phrases the manager used while explaining the job shows them you were intentionally listening and processing the information to build your interest in pursuing the job as a desired way to earn an income and make a valuable contribution to the team and company.

An example I have seen is how you dress up or present yourself for an interview. Your attire and body language is the first communication you have with your interviewer. Do not overdo or under dress; keep it smart, comfortable and neutral. Your attire boots your confidence.
