i think its really important for a starting designer to showcase the ability to design variant things because people in general would need to get the job done in one place ,not getting overwhelmed by your limited experience and search all over again for someone else so you need to add alot of different media in your portfolio but don't take the quality of your work for granted too

Definir primeramente el objetivo de la creación de un perfil en cualquier red social, es lo mas importante; no es lo mismo tener un perfil personal a la creación de una marca. En el segundo se establecen: los objetivos de la marca, su esencia, ¿cuál es la finalidad? Todo esto hace parte de la cadena de procesos que se deben seguir para alcanzar esos objetivos. Ser parte de las redes sociales no es solo subir fotografías y videos, es tener claro qué tipo de conexión deseas establecer y a dónde quieres llegar con ella.

I remember when I started ,I was not experienced and not that much confident but by nature I am a challenger that I accept the projects in which I was not master even just knows the basic knowledge but by the grace of Allah I learnt a lot and with my passion and hard work completed and got good feedback

In the 45 years that I've been in this industry, time management has allowed me to flourish. Never mind the deadlines; juggling between managing the art department, the digital printing department, the wide format department, network admin, computer maintenance and web management requires extreme time management, especially since I am also still a production employee. That's also where the patience I mentioned in my last contribution comes into play. Effective time management isn't possible without patience! You have to keep a cool head, especially when you're under fire. Delegate where possible, but plan far enough ahead that if you can't delegate, you will have the situation covered.

in graphic design before you start any project you must make your research first , this is one of the benefits of being a designer actually because you gain alot of knowledge of everything around you with every client and it really matters because every project has its own style , culture and visual identity and by the time every thing change and new styles are born so make sure to look for it

Creatives starting out in the current environment have many more tools available for finding work than I did when I started out in the early 90s. Every connection back then went along with a handshake, looking a potential client in the eyes while handing them a business card. Now there are lots of online platforms to choose from to upload your work and bid on jobs. The problem with removing the personal aspect of doing business is that our relationships are more temporary and disposable. The clients that are long term that share your values and work integrity are needed to survive. The relationships that start with a handshake are more durable and should be sought after if you want to play the long game. In person networking is still king.

Me gustaría decir que mi experiencia co o diseñadora me ayudó mucho para aplicar mis conocimientos de comunicación visual, en las pantallas tanto de mobile como web, creo que la investigación previa es fundamental y es muy parecida la metodología de investigación de Diseño como la de Design Thinking por ejemplo. Esto suma un valor agregado a una empresa ya que las metodologías si no son exactamente iguales pueden aprenderse pero el diseño es una carrera entera que uno puedo aplicar al UI.

As a society trends are important. As a designer knowing what the trends are and adding them into your designs can be a great way to stand out. With AI becoming used more and more, using it to help inspire new ideas and styles is also helpful. Watching the fashion design trends is important, they set the seasons colors and patterns. The big name brands that pay the big money for advertising campaigns, are always a good way to keep up with trends.

Learn about different manufacturing processes to in turn understand how your work will go from a design file to a tangible product. People think the reason we can charge thousands of dollars for a design is because we have over 10 years experience and high quality work that looks professional yaddayaddayadda. Being capable of making something "look good" is really a prerequisite, NOT the top of the mountain. Knowing how different machines work, what their tolerances are, the sequence design elements need to be machined and why its best for it to be machined in that sequence, then providing a design file a company can just load and run without an extra setup process, THAT'S what makes you valuable as a designer.
