Lainey Wilson Is a Business Owner
The singer took on the new title of entrepreneur, announcing on May 7, 2024, that she would be opening up her own bar and restaurant in the heart of Nashville, taking up a coveted three-story space where Florida Georgia Line’s former bar was housed.
Lainey partnered with TC Restaurant Group and named her new place Bell Bottoms Up after her signature fashion look.
“I’m so excited to announce Bell Bottoms Up, which will be opening later this summer,” the “God Bless Texas” singer told Billboard in a statement. “I’ve always wanted to create a destination for all my fans to visit and create new memories at, in the heart of country music city. So, to have a permanent destination in Nashville, is such a dream come true. I can’t wait for all my Wild Horses to get to experience my home away from home.”
The 27,000-square-foot venue – which is set to open on May 31, 2024 – will feature two performance stages and four bars and feature Lainey’s Louisiana roots in cocktails, entrees and bar foods.
What Awards Has Lainey Wilson Won?
Lainey made history when she was nominated for a whopping nine Country Music Awards in September 2023. The “Smell Like Smoke” musician went on to win Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Bell Bottom County and Musical Event of the Year at the December 2023 ceremony.
“This is all I’ve ever wanted to do, it’s the only thing I know how to do,” Lainey said while in tears accepting EOTY. “It finally feels like country music is starting to love me back.” She made history as the first woman to win the award since Taylor Swift took the title in 2011.
Lainey went on to win her first Grammy in February 2024, taking home Best Country Album for Bell Bottom Country.
At the May 2024 Academy of Country Music awards, the “Hold Tight Honey” singer won Female Vocalist of the Year and the coveted Entertainer of the Year award, beating out an all-male field.
