The cast of the legal drama Suits found themselves becoming bigger stars in 2023 and 2024 thanks to the show streaming on Netflix than they did when the show initially aired for nine seasons on the USA network between 2011 and 2019.

Thanks to the renewed interest, leads Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht reunited at the 2024 Golden Globes to present the Best Drama Series award, where they were joined by costars Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty. Gina even revealed that many of the show’s stars still have a group text where they keep up with each other.

Some of the cast members have continued to steadily work in TV, while others decided to live a quieter life away from acting. That doesn’t include Meghan Markle, who married into and later stepped away from the British royal family.

Patrick J. Adams

The co-lead who played Mike Ross has continued to work steadily since Suits ended. He starred as astronaut John Glenn in the 2020 Disney+ series The Right Stuff and appeared on 2022’s A League of Their Own series on Prime Video.

Patrick also hit the stage, starring in the 2022 Tony award-winning revival of Broadway’s Take Me Out.

Gabriel Macht

The show’s co-lead who portrayed law firm partner Harvey Specter took a hiatus from acting after Suits went off the air in 2019. He hasn’t taken on any new roles and lives a quiet life with wife Jacinda Barrett and their two children in England.

Patrick revealed during the 2024 Golden Globes that some of the cast members still have a text chain.

“Mostly, I’m just trying to get Gabriel to respond. Honestly, he’s slow on the text and he has like six different numbers now because he lives in England. So, we’re just trying to find out which number works,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

In 2024, Gabriel appeared in a T-Mobile Magenta Status ad campaign alongside Patrick while wearing their looks from Suits and making references to the show.

Gina Torres

The actress who played Jessica Pearson got her own Suits spinoff, Pearson, which premiered in 2019 and lasted for one season. After appearing in episodes of Westworld and Riverdale, Gina landed a lead role on Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star in 2021, playing paramedic captain Tommy Vega.

Meghan Markle

Her character of Rachel Zane was written off after marrying Mike Ross and moving to Seattle, Washington, in the season 7 finale. In real life, Meghan married into the British royal family, tying the knot in a lavish royal wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, 2018.

The pair stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, moving to Montecito, California. The duo appeared in a 2022 Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and she hosted 12 episodes of the Spotify podcast “Archetypes” that same year before the audio service parted ways with the couple for lack of output.

Meghan signed a deal in 2024 to do new podcasts for Lemonada Media, but no new series will appear until 2025, as the former Suits star decided to focus on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Sarah Rafferty

After playing Donna Paulsen on Suits, Sarah starred on a three-episode arc on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy in 2020. She followed that up with another medical show, playing Dr. Pamela Burke on NBC’s Chicago Med from 2021 through 2022.

Sarah’s most recent project was starring on Netflix’s series My Secret Life With the Walter Boys, which dropped in December 2023.

Rick Hoffman

The actor landed a handful of parts after playing legal partner Louis Litt on Suits. Rick had a recurring role as Dr. Swerdlow on six episodes of Showtime’s Billions from 2020 through 2023. He appeared in the 2023 horror flick Thanksgiving as well as the 2023 Hallmark Channel movie Round and Round.

Amanda Schull

The actress appeared as corporate attorney and named partner on Suits for 49 episodes between 2013 and 2019. Amanda has since appeared on numerous TV shows, including MacGyver, NCIS, The Recruit and five episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star as Special Agent Rose Casey in 2023.

Katherine Heigl

The Grey’s Anatomy alum joined the show as hotshot lawyer Samantha Wheeler in season 9. She’s gone on to appear in two seasons of Netflix’s Firefly Lane, based on the novel by Kristin Hannah.
