Dog owners will be able to walk their furry friends through 12 acres of gardens during special “dog days” this summer. Easton Walled Gardens, just over the Leicestershire border in Lincolnshire, is again set to hold dog days on Sundays in August.

Dogs aren’t usually permitted in the gardens, which are more than 400 years old. But from 2pm-5pm on the final day of the week throughout August, pets will be able to enjoy a “haven of wildlife and beautiful flowers”.

As well as the gardens, if you fancy a bite to eat, The Coffee Room will be open for homemade cakes and refreshments. For savoury food, the Apple Store sells sausage rolls and Quiche during the restricted hours of 12pm to 3pm.
