Kasabian has been announced as one of the headliners for Latitude Festival next summer. The chart-topping Leicester band will headline the festival in Suffolk alongside acts such as Duran Duran, Keane and London Grammar.

The event will run from July 25-28 and tickets can be purchased on the Latitude website. Frontman, Serge Pizzorno said: "We can't wait to give you the show of your lives." The band is also set to release a new album, Happenings, next summer, which Pizzorno has promised will be "pure joy".

Also next summer is the band’s gig at Victoria Park, where around 50,000 fans are expected to attend the show on Saturday, July 6. Kaiser Chiefs and other, yet-to-be-announced special guests, will join the band for what has been called The Summer Solstice II following the band's first major gig in the city park ten years ago.

Kasabian’s original second Victoria Park gig, planned for 2020, was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and their last local show at De Montfort Hall in 2021 marked a new beginning after the departure of Tom Meighan the year before.
