Download Festival organisers have raised their game this year on the food and drink front. New for the 2024 festival is The Welders Yard - a “brand new” food and drink area at the top of the main arena - and two new bars, the Gooseneck Inn biker bar and the Ace of Spades (Lemmy would be proud).

The Gooseneck Inn will offer a range of “premium” whiskies, rums, liqueurs and other spirits. Organisers say festivalgoers be able to take part in eating competitions and watch the Euros at the Ace of Spades bar, which will be located near the new Outpost Stage in District X.

The rock festival, which runs from Friday, June 14, to Sunday, June 16 in Castle Donington, will have more than 140 food traders this year. Download said this would include more than 30 different traders with gluten free options, more than 80 vegetarian options and 40 plus offering vegan fare.
