Theresa Cattoor Obituary
Theresa was born on March 7th, 1962 in St. Louis to Dale and Sandra Cattoor. Her journey was defined by unwavering dedication to the care and well-being of others. From an early age, she exhibited a nurturing spirit and boundless curiosity that would shape her life's work in the field of Nursing Research. As a nurse, Theresa touched countless lives with her skill, empathy, and devotion.
In her spare time, Theresa enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with loved ones, finding solace in developing and deepening relationships. Theresa also had an immense love for animals, from rescuing cats and dogs to taking injured wildlife to rehab sanctuaries, her compassion had no limits.
Theresa's legacy of love and service will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her empathy knew no bounds, and her impact on the community she served and loved was profound.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis reflecting Theresa's lifelong commitment to helping others.
A celebration of life will be on August 17th, details are being coordinated.

Although I only saw her once a year, Theresa was the kindest nurse I have ever met. I was never afraid to ask her questions, was the best at drawing my blood, and always put me at ease. She was amazing and definitely made the world a better place.

With your mom being a nurse, looks like you all followed in her footsteps, with such compassion in your life choices. It's so hard to fathom that both Julie & now, Theresa, too, have gone on to their just rewards!!!
I still have great memories of all of you when you were younger; so these passings bring quite a few tears for me. Sounds like she had a wonderful & fulfilling life, according to some of these condolences. I, especially, send my condolences & prayers to her 2 kids. I just know she had to be 'THE BEST MOM EVER" to both of them.....God bless all of you!!! Elta

Theresa was such a dedicated research nurse at SLU. She worked throughout her illness and was so inspiring to her colleagues and patients. She was one of a kind and we were blessed to know her.

I only met Theresa briefly at SLU, but I now work with her research patients. When they walk in, first thing they ask is about Theresa. A true testament to her legacy.

Theresa was a nursing student of mine many years ago at St. Louis Community College. She was incredibly intelligent and was one of our first honors students in the nursing program. She was always extremely caring of others. What an exemplary human being!
